Compressed air pipework can be installed using various materials and methods. Pipes can be made from galvanised steel, aluminium and flexible pvc or nylon systems. Galvanised steel pipework requires a pipe threader to turn a thread on to the pipe which a pipe fitting will then screw on to. Aluminium pipework is often fixed using push fit or push and twist fittings. Flexible pipe is ususally fitted using hosetail fittings and jubilee clips or push fit fittings.
