- No, it doesn't. That section seems to actualy be the history of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. I have deleted all references (as well as the various conflicting dates). SixFourThree (talk) 17:49, 1 April 2008 (UTC)SixFourThree

The Clippers make no claim to anything other than a 1977 formation.[www.clippersbaseball.com/clippers/about] As noted above, this article used to incorporate some of the Jersey Giants history, but that was a different team.
