Claudio Nunes

Claudio Nunes (born March 23, 1969 in Rome) is an Italian bridge international. Nunes won the European Youth Teams Championships 1992, the 2002 World Open Pairs Championship, the 2003 European Champions' Cup for Open Teams, the 2004 European Champions' Cup for Open Teams, the European open Teams Championship 2004, the World Team Olympiad 2004, the 2005 European Champions' Cup for Open Teams, and the World Open Teams Championship 2005. Nunes is one of 10 players globally who collected the Triple Crown of Bridge.
Nunes' regular partner is Fulvio Fantoni. Fantoni-Nunes are generally regarded as one of the top pairs worldwide. They play the so-called Fantunes system, an innovative bidding system that is characterised by natural but forcing one-level openings.
