Claudette Ortiz (born July 21, 1981 in Willingboro, New Jersey) is an American soul singer of African American and Puerto-Rican descent, most famous as the soprano in the R&B group City High although she has built somewhat of a name for herself as a solo artist.

Ryan Toby, former group mate, married Ortiz on October 14, 2004. They have 2 sons together. Ortiz's first son was born in 2003 with Toby. According to IMDB, Claudette also had a son with New Jersey rapper Malicious Jynx, born on August 19, 2004. Her third son Joel was born August 12, 2005.

She was featured on Wyclef Jean's track "Dance Like This" on the Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights soundtrack, which was later remade by Shakira (as "Hips Don't Lie") in 2006. Other artists she has worked with include Nas, Ja Rule and rapper Mase. Maxim ranked Ortiz as the 99th most beautiful woman in the world in 2002.[1]
