Civil Lines

Civil Lines is a subdivision of North Delhi District in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, India.
Now It's a developing district. It Includes areas like:
- Mukherjee Nagar: It is an educational centre, mostly known for I.A.S coachings. It has a famous movie theatre called Batra Cinema.
- Kingsway Camp: Main Road Of G.T.B Nagar.It is a very congested market.
- Hudson Line: Mostly Rich People Live Here.
- Timarpur: It is a Official Place having Many governmental Offices
- Radio Colony: Its a green wonder having a "Radio Station"
- Dhir Pur: A small and congested village near Rosary School
- Dhaka Village : Its a good place to live many students living here on rent
- Gandhi Ashram: Its a green open Sometimes also having A "Khadi Mela" Once Gandhi visited it.
- Parmanand Colony: Most of the sikhs and Punjabis live here
- Model Town : Having Many Branded Showrooms.It is a good place for shopping.

The name Civil Lines is a relic of British times, when the city of Delhi was organized into separate areas where the British Military and Civilian buildings were located. Areas where civilians lived were demarcated as Civil Lines

Civil Lines is also a cluster of homes in the city of Gurdaspur, which is located in Punjab, India.
Civil Lines is also an area in Allahabad. In fact, Allahabad Civil Lines is the best of all Civil Lines in India.
