Why the name "Tzhu and Dashi Cemetary"? There are only two mentions of this anywhere on the web, and both are from the same MOFA. I think "Cemetary" is not the proper term (more like a mauseleum), but don't people just call it "Tzhu"? Let's move it back. --Jiang 09:12, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I think the scope of this article should discuss mainly the premises, with the discussion of CKS's death a funeral given coverage in his biography. We only need to give enough information as background. --Jiang 09:12, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I have no personal attatchment to Chiang. I have no much opinion. However, given the rare circumstance that Chiang happen to be one of the few national leaders indefinitely unburried with the intention to relocate later, I think this subject somehow deserves being addressed at some length. His mauseleum should be listed among other well known memorials as well. Perhaps you can share with us some idea as to which portion of this article is not essential and we can start from there.

As for the naming of the page, I used to think that Tzhu is the name of Chiang's mauseleum myself, too. However, when I seriously looked it up, Tzhu is actually the name of a lake which Chiang named because he thought the scenary looks very like his home town and reminded him about his mother. The official name is "Tzhu and Dashi Cemetary"(慈湖大溪陵寢) and it is under controlled by Ministry of National Defense[1]. As for why it is called "Cemetary" as opposed to mauseleum, I really have no idea. The naming is really official and not up to my decision to change it. Change it on Wiki if you really have to. I do not think anyone would have strong objection, unless he was one of Chiang's royal national guards.Mababa 09:27, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Given that it's mentioned on only one page anywhere and they spelled it "cemetary" (as opposed to "cemetery") I think it's not really official (that's the translation, at least). I think 陵寢 translates more accurately into "mausoleum". But "Tzuhu and Dashi Mausoleum" isn't a common name either. We can first mention the lake and then say the tomb is nearby and go on the discuss the tomb. --Jiang 09:46, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Jiang, I have made some modification and also moved the entry. I hope these modification would make the contents more pertinent to the title of the entry. I also corrected the official name: Dashi cemetery belongs to Chiang Ching-kuo, whereas Tzhu cemetery belong's to Chiang Kai-shek. I just realized it.Mababa 06:20, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
