Have to agree. If you can produce comments from newspapers or other books, they qualify. But your status as the individual founder of the church makes some of your own statements, unless they are, for instances, quotes from you published in reliable or other sources, very problematic in terms of wikipedia policies and guidelines. [edit] Membership references

Are there any references available showing that there are any actual members of this group? A Google search hasn't turned up much other than things created by Bulla himself (and blogs of people mocking him). I'm suspicious of whether this is an actual group of believers or just one person making a lot of noise. Tijuana Brass (talk) 03:40, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

I have looked up the Melton reference and the church is mentioned in there at least. I haven't checked the Shields reference. The Melton reference said nothing about membership totals. I note that User:Artbulla didn't start the article, so it hasn't been 100% self-promotional. Snocrates 04:05, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure if the Melton reference is enough to justify inclusion here alone. Don't get me wrong - I personally enjoy having a variety of articles outlining the different ways in which Mormonism has taken shape, something which is hard to find information about - but with no indication of any significant membership, it's hard to determine notability.

On the other hand, along the same lines, if Bulla has made his presence known and voice heard enough that he's become something of a figure within the splinter LDS movements, that may be a different way of establishing WP:N. Tijuana Brass 22:39, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it may be borderline, but I would err on the side of deciding it is notable enough to stand. Mention in at least 2 reference books, one general about religion and one specifically about Latter Day Saint sects, plus an appearance in a notable film would qualify for me regardless of the size of the church. Unless there are no members of the church and he has no followers, in which case the article should probably be moved to Art Bulla. Snocrates 02:35, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
