Chuko Hayakawa

Chuko Hayakawa (早川 忠孝? born 1945) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Nagasaki Prefecture and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he worked at the Ministry of Home Affairs from 1969 to 1973. In 2003 he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time, after running unsuccessfully in 1996 and 2000.
