Christian Richards Jacobs (born January 11, 1972 in Rexburg, Idaho) is an American musician and former child actor, well-known by the stage name The MC Bat Commander or MCBC for short, has been the lead singer of The Aquabats since the band formed in 1994. He is the co-creator of the Nick Jr. children's television series, Yo Gabba Gabba!.
As a child actor, he appeared in a variety of commercials, television shows, and movies, including Pretty In Pink, Gleaming the Cube, Married... with Children and Roseanne, had a co-starring role as Joey Stivic on the short-lived All in the Family spin-off Gloria, for which he was nominated for a Young Artist Award. He also voiced Cavin for some episodes of Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears.
He currently lives in Huntington Beach, California with his wife and three children.

- His older sister, Rachel Jacobs and his younger brother, Parker Jacobs were also child actors who, like Christian, launched their careers in commercials and then moved on to TV and film.
- He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two-year mission in Japan. Part of the time, his assignment was that of assistant to the Mission President.[citation needed]
- He is the great-grandson of prominent Mormon leader LeGrand Richards.
- He enjoys surfing,[citation needed] and he's also an experienced skateboarder.[citation needed] His skating acquaintance Tony Hawk made an appearance on an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba!.
- For his role in The Aquabats he uses a marker to draw a mustache on his upper lip and black out one of his front teeth. He also performs various stunts on stage, including backflips.
