Chris Collins is an American television writer. He has worked on the HBO dramas The Sopranos and The Wire.
Collins joined the crew of The Wire in the shows third season as the script coordinator.[1] In the fourth season he continued to serve as the script coordinator and worked as a staff writer.[2] In the fifth season he was the story editor.[3] Collins was involved in the writer's planning meetings for the fifth season.[4] He contributed the story (with David Simon) and teleplay for the third episode of the fifth season "Not for Attribution."[5]
