Christopher Andrew Barker (born 2 March 1980 in Sheffield) is an English professional footballer who plays for Queens Park Rangers.
Barker, a defender, previously played for Alfreton and Barnsley. His brother Richard Barker is a striker for Hartlepool United.
He was voted the Cardiff City supporters' player of the season in 2004–05.
Barker was signed on loan by Colchester United until January 2007. This was extended until the end of the season. Unfortunately this didn't become permanent at the end of May 2007. But still he will be regarded as a very popular and much respected player with the fans at Layer Road.
