Albert Myron Zachary (born as Albert Myron Zarski May 14, 1914 in Brooklyn, New York, died June 24, 2006) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball. He pitched in 4 games (2 of them starts) for the Brooklyn Dodgers during the 1944 season.
Myron Zarski was the husband of Laura Osla Zarski, father to Marilyn Jacobs and Kenneth Zarski, grandfather of Victoria Jacobs and Laurie Kemme, and great-grandfather of Connor and Noah Kemme.
In his later years, Myron reminisced fondly of his years playing ball and the famous ball players he met along the way...Hank Aaron, Joe DiMaggio and Yogi Bera to name a few. He would share stories of traveling across the country pitching batting practice, coaching young pitchers in the bull pen, and enjoying his life. He especially enjoyed the time when his wife, Laura would be able to join him on the road, and returning home to her when she couldn't.
Myron will always be remembered fondly by family and friends the like. He was a generous man who loved unconditionally and expected nothing in return for this. Even in his last days, he made a point to let those around know he loved them.
