[edit] New Jersey "Disco Fries"?
I lived in New Jersey for close to two decades and never in my life heard of "Disco Fries" on any menu in any restaurant, bar or diner (or discotheque for that matter). Source of this alleged name?

[edit] Snuffer's in Dallas.
Snuffer's in Dallas invented the cheese fries in 1978. A plate of fries with melted cheddar cheese, topped with scallions, jalapenos, and bacon bits, and a side of ranch dressing for dipping.
