What is the history of the discovery of the infectious etiology of this disease? Who first thought it was caused by Afipia felis and who subsequently proved that Cat-Scratch Fever is caused by Bartonella henselae and Bartonella clarridgeiae? ReasonableLogicalMan(Talk 20:37, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Some qualification for severe cases
I had an associate who experienced severe reactions to a cat scratch that had permanent effects on his health and his memory. The tone of the article at the moment seems to suggest the prognosis is "generally favorable" without commenting on more severe possibilities. Could someone speak to this?
