[edit] Merger of Cats into Cat (disambiguation)
I propose that Cats be merged into Cat (disambiguation), and that Cats points to the Cat article page. - - cgilbert(talk|contribs) 03:12, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- support, could be easily combined. Vicarious 04:31, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
I propose to you, love. Hee hee! No, now I'm just joking around. I really also propose that we merge Cats and Cat. Hey, I really like cats! Hee hee!
-Diana Werkborch
I propose an article on longcat. He is what we fight for.
Also, pools closed due to aids, stingrays, diabetus, and volcanic ash.
- It doesn't make sense to redirect Cats to Cat, because I am sure that the majority of the time when someone links Cats they are talking about Cats (musical).--Mynameisnotpj (talk) 02:16, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] CAT scan
In the UK CAT scan stands for Computer Aided Tomography. - It is a type of computer assisted x-ray machine that can generate synthetic 3d images. - also called a brain scanner (generic / informal). Hope that helps.

[edit] Sailing : Cat Head and Cat Hook
Hi the reason I found this page was that I was looking for the terms Cat Head and Cat Hook, which refer to a lifting hook on a large sailing ship - I think 18th or 19th century. It is attached at the front of the forecastle at the front of the ship. Since it is right next to the toilet - the "Necessary Seat" it might be connected of that. (The toilet is within the "Head" attached to the front of the hull).

[edit] About disambiguation pages
- The point of a disambiguation page is not to list every possible acronym, definition or use of a particular word; disambiguation pages are meant to assist a Wikipedia user in finding an existing page whose topic is (or could be) the actual word used in their search query.
- I've removed MANY of the entries on this page because it is doubtful that a person would simply type "cat", "cats", or "CAT" in an attempt to find those specific topics, for example: Combat Application Tourniquet, CAT scan, Common Admission Test, Canadian Army Trophy, Cat Stevens etc...
- Please see Wikipedia:Disambiguation and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages) for more info.
