[edit] Cognitive Retention Therapy

RE your ask for help of the Alzheimer's Disease pages. I’ve responded here as I think people will probably complain if they feel too much space is taken on it on the AD talk page – eventually topics have to get put into an archive when it grows too big.

It looks very interesting - but it seems to be partly well-thought-out common sense and partly a TM product (though I'm not sure how far that goes, and the world of AD is certainly commercialised). Is it just the training that is sold? People are wary of advertising on Wikipedia (plain advertising is not allowed) - but new information of value is of course included, as are many products and companies.

Otherwise, I would say create a specific Wikipedia page on it first - you still could give that a go if you feel it is important enough, despite seeming to be a product. The easy way is to type the full name into the search box and choose ‘create page’ – people can refer to its own talk page then - which you can reference. If people object to the page, someone will put it up for deletion and it will be reviewed.

There may eventually be an off-shoot Alzheimer’s page that will be more friendly to including info on it – though I’m not sure what form that would take. If you first prove it’s worth it could still stick in the main article, possibly under 'Ocupational and lifestyle therapies', or some kind of new 'commercial therapy' heading perhaps. The whole topic of Alzheimer's need a lot of reorganising in my opinion, but I can't imagine it will be easily done. Wikipedia works on Consensus (Wikipedia:Consensus) – people tend to delete new information on the AD pages unless consensus on it is shown.--Matt Lewis (talk) 01:36, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. This line of research is part of a larger body of research into Psychological approaches for dementia management. [1] has one such review of them. This approach might be one section in a larger article about these strategies. You could start by summarizing this article and then look to what some of the guideline documents recommend. --Chrispounds (talk) 14:29, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:CRT Graph.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:CRT Graph.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:06, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
