Casper Henningsen (born July 6, 1985) is a Danish professional football player, who plays at Silkeborg IF in the Danish Superliga. Henningsen is a forward, known for a good technique and pace. He has received number 14 at Silkeborg IF.
He started his senior career with amateur club Slagelse B&I in 2003, before moving to Silkeborg in the beginning of 2007, signing a contract until the summer 2009.
He made his Silkeborg debut at the indoor soccer Tele2-cup, where he made a series of promising appearances. Henningsen has stated, that he is looking forward to playing as a full time footballer, claiming that, "In the 2. division you had go along with a full time job, strength training and football traning and still be mentally and physically ready for playing football. Now you can just concentrate on training".[1]
