[edit] Notable enough
Sounds like a typically good academic. Is she notable under WP:BIO. Article just sounds like a CV.Billlion 07:38, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- There was no reply so I have nominated for deletion. I don't see a case for notability, see Wikipedia:Notability (academics). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Billlion (talk • contribs) 11:45, 3 March 2007 (UTC).
[edit] "Full Professor"
I deleted Full and changed the link to the UK relevant section, as there is no such title as Full Professor. Actually on reflection there are really two categories of Chair at UoM, a Personal Chair, and something that is probably best described as a "Named Chair", like the Fielden Chair of Pure Mathematics (I am not sure what named chairs they have in CS). My guess is Prof Goble has a Personal Chair. As I understand it Full professor is used to indicate a Professor in institutions/countries where they have eg "Associate Professor". In the UK generally, and UoM in particular the rank below Professor is Reader.Billlion (talk) 10:49, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
