there needs to be some kind of review of the supposed claims here. i have never even heard most of this stuff. its poorly written, and no sources are given, i think they need to be removed

It would be good if there were some explanation as to why he changed first name from Dominic to Carman. "Carman", in and of itself, doesn't have any obvious "Christian"(evangelical Christian, that is, since the guy was obviously raised Catholic)connection. User:Ken Burch 07:46, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
By the way, His name is Carmello Dominic Licciardello, he didn't change it. Dominic is his middle name. Why would it matter anyway????
I do not know where he was raised but he goes to a Church of God. He may have been raised Catholic but so was I. Now I am born again. He probally just liked the name Carmen better than Dominic. If you have listened to the message of his songs or ever been in his concert you would know that he is a Christian. Donna Wright 5:55 July 7, 2007 EST
