Carol Williams is a Democratic member of the Montana Senate, representing District 46 since 2004. Serving as the current Majority Leader, she is the first woman to hold this position in Montana history. She was previously a member of the Montana House of Representatives from 1999 through 2000.
Her husband, John Patrick Williams, is a former congressman from Montana.
