Carol Hirschfeld

Carol Hirschfeld is a New Zealand broadcaster. She is most well-known for her role as a TV3 Newsreader alongside John Campbell from 1996 until 2005.
Hirschfeld started her career after going to Broadcasting school in Wellington. She took a job as a News reporter with TV3, was promoted to a weekend newsreader in 1994, and moved to the weekday job in 1996. She resigned at the end of 2005, being replaced by Hilary Barry and Mike McRoberts. Hirschfeld moved with John Campbell to his then-new current-events show at 7.00pm weekdays called Campbell Live as the producer and taking the role as presenter on Fridays.
