Cardiomegaly is a medical condition wherein the heart is enlarged. It is generally categorized in the following manner:
- Cardiomegaly due to dilation
- Cardiomegaly due to ventricular hypertrophy
- Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH)
- Right ventricular hypertrophy (RVH)
