Carcare is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about 50 km west of Genoa and about 20 km northwest of Savona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,708 and an area of 10.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Carcare contains the frazione (subdivision) Vispa.
Carcare borders the following municipalities: Altare, Cairo Montenotte, Cosseria, Mallare, Pallare, and Plodio.
