Cairn Magazine

Cairn Magazine is a magazine focused on Colorado's cultural landscape. The quarterly publication's first issue debuted in the spring of 2006, and carries the tag line "Colorado's Cultural Guidepost". The glossy publication is eclectic in its content, which covers music, art, the outdoors, artist profiles, non-profit profiles, fiction pieces, book reviews and photo essays.
Readership is primarily within the Front Range, and circulation is currently 10,000 copies.
Cairn Magazine has covered such diverse topics as hydroponics, the emerging Denver rock scene, Rocky Mountain oysters, Nepalese sex-trade and rock climbing. All articles either relate to the Colorado lifestyle or are submitted by Colorado contributors.
The magazine's official website, www.cairnmag.com, has an events calendar and a directory for Colorado museums, theaters, venues, and outdoor organizations.

Cairn Magazine's name was derived from the Scottish word cairn. This name suggests that the magazine functions as a guide for readers on a cultural path, much as a physical cairn structure signals a path or trail.
