Boissezon is a municipality in the French department of Tarn. The municipality covers 19 km², and is part of is part of the canton Mazamet-Nord-Est in the Castres. It had 390 inhabitants in 1999, with a population density of 20.5 people per km². Its inhabitants are known in French as boissezonnais or as boissesonols.
The village was originally known as Buxodunum, meaning "land of the buxus."
