Blue Ridge Music Center
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Blue Ridge Music Center is part of the Blue Ridge Parkway system and is located at Milepost 213 near Galax, Virginia.[1] Each summer it has a schedule of events related to a concert series.[2][3] The center was planned over a decade ago when the town of Galax gave a thousand acres for its development.[4] The Center has a state-of-the-art amphitheater and a 17,000 square foot museum that just opened.[5][6] It was officially established by Congress in 1985.[7][8][9]
