Blue Murder is a British TV crime drama series on ITV, starring Caroline Quentin as DCI Janine Lewis. It is based in Manchester, and is written by well-known crime writer Cath Staincliffe. It has recently completed its fourth season on ITV.
DCI Janine Lewis is a single mother of four and tries to balance a demanding career with taking care of her children. Her ex-husband is an absent father. He has since founded a new family.
