I'll take you up on the challenge to find indep sources, as I am sure there is scholarly commentary on Ren and Stimpy and in many ways Spongebob has lasted longer and had more lasting influence. - Ego the Living Planet was saved through a combination of vote-stacking and the fact that a band had recorded a song about it. Nobody but you believes that primary sources alone are sufficient. Blast Ulna (talk) 16:44, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

- Ego was never going to be deleted - anyone who thought so obviously knows nothing about comics. There was also no vote stacking. As I said, I'll be taking the matter further and using the comments posted to date as evidence.

- For more examples, I have added secondary sources as references to two more comics articles, Mister Mxyzptlk and NKVDemon. This is what the reliablesources tag is asking for. Hi Blast - I've reverted your change to WP:BIO for now. I proposed the change on the talk page a few weeks ago, and there was very little response (one editor, who agreed with the change). I recognize that this is far from a firm consensus, so I'd be happy to address whatever objections you may have (and I'd even be happy to leave it in the old form while discussion is ongoing). However, since you haven't actually made any points yet, and since I've already made mine, I didn't see any way to respond to your reversion except by reverting. Let's talk about it on the talk page.
