Blaine High School is a high school in Blaine, Minnesota: part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11. The school opened in 1973. The mascot is the Bengal. Norm Hande is the current principal.[1] This school may be confused with another Blaine High School in Blaine, Washington.

Blaine High School participates in the University of Minnesota's College in the Schools program.[2] BHS also boasts an accomplished music department that includes several choirs, bands, and string orchestras. Many Blaine music students have taken part of the yearly MMEA All-State music ensembles.

Blaine High School won the Minnesota high school boys hockey Class AA championship in 2000, defeating Duluth East High School by a final score of 6-0.[3] The football team won the 1988 state championship in Class AA. The Girls Nordic Skiing Team won the 1979 state championship. Their biggest rival is Coon Rapids High School.

School rivals of Blaine include Centennial senior high school, Andover High School, Coon Rapids High School, Anoka High School, and Champlin Park High School. Rivalries also differ from sport to sport, depending on each school's strength in a particular sport.
