Blackie, Alberta

Blackie is an unincorporated settlement in Alberta, Canada.
It is located in the Municipal district of Foothills, approximately 70 km southeast of Calgary and has a population of about 400.
Blackie was incorporated as a village, but dissolved as such in 1997, when it amalgamated with the municipal district. The hamlet is since administered by the Municipal district of Foothills.[1]
