Black Leopards are a South African football (soccer) club that plays in the Premier Soccer League. The club, which was founded in 1983 by business people in Venda, usually plays its home matches in Thohoyandou, Limpopo Province. In 1998, the club was taken over by the Thidiela family. After just two seasons of campaigning in the National First Division, Black Leopards were promoted to the elite division of the country. The club has since managed to remain in the league. They are notorious for hiring and firing coaches.
The club's nickname is Lidoda Duvha, which can be translated as The day will come.
