Bishop of Worcester

The Bishop of Worcester heads the Church of England Diocese of Worcester in the Province of Canterbury in England. He is the ordinary in the see of Worcester and has his seat in Worcester Cathedral. The diocese covers the county of Worcestershire, the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley, and parts of the City of Wolverhampton.
The bishops of Worcester can be traced back to the year 680.
The Bishops of Worcester reside in Hartlebury Castle in Worcestershire, but at one time also had a palace at Alvechurch. As of 2008, the current bishop is John Inge, who signs 'John Wigorn:'
