Assessment Report

References and Citations are crucial for wikipedia, and so these must be added as the article is expanded. Make sure that as many as possible are "in-line" citations. Please also add inline citations to the text already present. (See WP:References, WP:V, and WP:CITE for guidance.) Peter I. Vardy 13:33, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup note

Hey all, sorry to put this up, but since the districts were merged into this article, the buses section has become v. confusing, please don't totally strip it out, it just needs rewriting. I wrote the info when Locking Stumps, Gorse Covert and Oakwood were different articles, and since the merge, it even confuses me lol. Thanks for your help Danny 13:41, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Buses etc

The section on transport links is better since the time tables have been removed, however I still think there is too much detail. All of this information is available on the Warrington Borough Council website, and it would be more useful to provide a good link there. It's not as if Birchwood is the only place with buses. The article would be improved with - pictures of the Birchwood centre; more history (Birchwood during the war etc); Birchwood's place as part of Warrington New Town - original plans, how these panned out; Birchwood Carnival; Birchwood Bonfire etc etc. Royalof 20:59, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
