[edit] Sources for Matthew Graham

Hello, good work on Matthew Graham, and thanks for the contribution. However, you did not provide any references or sources in the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. From what websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to Matthew Graham? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? You can simply add links, or see WP:CITET if you wish to review some of the different citation methods. Thanks!  BRIAN0918  14:00, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Love and Monsters

Bingo, you really need to let us know, at least in the edit summary, where the info comes from. I don't read the OG forums much these days, and I had to troll through them to determine if the information was even reliable. This will solve a lot of potential problems when people who are not au fait with the latest news look in on your edits and wonder whether you're just being a rumor-monger or a crank. (It does happen - we've had a spate of people insisting on the "Planet 14" hoax title, for example, even after drwho-online stated that it was mistaken.) --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 04:54, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

...sounds like a great title, but I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere. Where did you hear it? —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 04:53, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kenny Everett / LGBT people

Hi Bingo!

You had no reason to know, but the reason why Kenny Everett is now in Category:LGBT people from England and Category:LGBT comedians instead of Category:Lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender people is because I saw that last category needed a lot of diffusion - as did the category Category:LGBT people from the United Kingdom. So I've been spending a fair amount of time moving people out of that category, and setting up new subcategories, and I don't really want to see people being moved back into the top-level category unless there's an overwhelming reason why they should be there as well as in their various sub-categories. Yonmei 08:12, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

I never touched any of that, I merely added some external links. bingo99 17:12, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Life of Brian bbc mugg and cleese s.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Life of Brian bbc mugg and cleese s.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:08, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Monty Python

You are a Python fan? I forgive you for liking Victoria Wood (but I do not forget). Raymond Luxury Yacht

Oh cobblers Mr Throat Wobbler Mangrove, Victoria Wood As Seen On TV is only second to MPFC as the greatest sketch show ever. I applaud and boo your taste in comedy simultaneously - bingo99 00:46 25 January 2007

Edit - Just checked, you're a Peter Kay fan but not a Victoria Wood fan!! That's like preferring The Bootleg Beatles to The Beatles.

Thanks for uploading Image:Clive James.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. [edit] Regarding edits to Colour Strike

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Bingo99! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule proboards\d{1,3}\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 02:25, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:So It Goes1.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:So It Goes1.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 19:10, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] SO IT GOES 30TH OCTOBER 1977

I am trying to get hold of a copy of So It Goes from 30th October 1977 Series Two Show 4 (I believe) featuring my partner Roy Hill performing 'George's Bar'. I don't suppose you have a copy of this performance do you or know where I can get one? Thanks Bingo."91.109.251.115 (talk) 18:37, 2 February 2008 (UTC)"
