Bill McDonald

Bill McDonald (born 1966) is the co-anchor of the Ten Network's 5pm news in Brisbane with Georgina Lewis. Previously Bill had been sports presenter but was promoted to news anchor when Geoff Mullins left Ten News. Bill McDonald also talks on local radio stations in Brisbane.

A rare occasion for McDonald came on Saturday, 11 August when he presented a local bulletin, aired at 5pm. This was because Ten Brisbane had just aired a match between Brisbane and Hawthorn, which was not a Ten Melbourne broadcast match (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth received the Port Adelaide vs. Carlton match).
