[edit] Blackpool
Thanks for your message regarding your addition to Blackpool. We do not give Wikipedia:External links the sort of prominence you gave it within the article which was what led me to feel that it was spam. I have had another look at the history itself and do feel it is an appropriate external link for the Blackpool article so have added it to the appropriate section - Blackpool#External links - of the article. - I am afraid external links on wikipedia should only be included either as references or in an appropriate external links section of the article. To quote from the policy - "External links should not normally be used in the body of an article.... Instead, include appropriate external links in an "External links" section at the end and/or in the appropriate location within an infobox or navbox". Davewild (talk) 19:47, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
