[edit] Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km²), all of it land.
Biggs turned down benefits they otherwise would have received if they had changed the town name to "Got Milk." In late 2002, the town's mayor was faced with the opportunity of the town benefiting from a proposed name change by the dairy organization that hit pay dirt with the "Got Milk" ad campaign. Most of the town's residents were against this name change proposal. If the name change had been successful, the town's schools would have been awarded with computers. The town would have had a "Got Milk" museum.
Several other northern California towns were approached with the same offer but none responded, like Biggs.
