[edit] Your edits to Bowling Green State University
Welcome, and thank you for editing the page Bowling Green State University on Wikipedia. Please be careful not to remove maintenance templates from articles without addressing the issue listed. If you believe the tag is placed in error use the article's associated talk page to explain your changes. Thank you. --Kralizec! (talk) 14:27, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Please refrain from removing {{refimprove}}, {{citation style}}, and {{tl|advert} tags from articles needing improvement. [edit] Re: Bowling Green Falcons
Hey thanks alot man, yeah I've been looking for someone to help me with the article including the current season ones (2007-08 Bowling Green Falcons men's basketball team for example). So are you a current student or alum? I'm in my second year and am a Sport Management major. --Rik (talk) 21:04, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to WP:UNI!!!
Hi, and welcome to WikiProject Universities! Our goals are to standardize the structure and content of all college and university articles, improve Wikipedia's coverage of these articles (hopefully propelling them to featured article status), and serve as the central resource for all discussions and information related to colleges and universities on Wikipedia.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The university infobox is one way we hope to standardize our coverage of university articles. All university pages should have this infobox, and relevant fields should be filled in and sourced.
- Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has a few expanding departments, which handle article quality assessment, member recruitment and project awareness and article improvement collaborations.
- We have a Student Affairs task force that focuses on Student affairs-specific articles.
- We've developed a variety of guidelines for article structure and content, template use, categorization, and other issues that you may find useful.
- Check out our to do list to get started!
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask one of the project participants or post a question on the talk page. We'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! —Noetic Sage 02:51, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Ice Hockey Newsletter
edit
WikiProject Ice Hockey Newsletter Dear Bhockey10! You are receiving as you are a member of WikiProject Ice Hockey There's been many more new things going on at WP:HOCKEY, and I think this will help you to stay informed. Since the last newsletter sent out in October, there have been many new changes. I'm hoping to make this newsletter a bit more regular; Kaiser matias and Skudrafan1 asked for a new issue a week ago, but sadly, I've been a bit lazy and committed to other things hence this other delay. --Maxim(talk) edit
New recognized content By Maxim
edit
Task forces By Maxim There was a new taskforce created within the WikiProject to deal with topics related to the Boston Bruins. It was originally founded as a separate WikiProject, but was quickly turned into a taskforce within WikiProject Ice Hockey. The list of participants is located here. Located at WP:BRUINS, the taskforce's goals are to make Boston Bruins and Bobby Orr featured articles. Good luck! edit
New Administrators By Maxim
A previously admin-only feature has been made available for all users. The rollback feature allows a user to quickly revert vandalism with one click. If you wish to have rollback, contact an active admin or post a request to WP:RFR. edit
Featured Topic Drive By Maxim The original featured topic drive, initiated by Scorpion0422, has concluded succesfully. National Hockey League awards is now a featured topic, with 24 articles in total. Of them, 20 are featured lists, one is a featured article, and the other three are trophy articles that were too short to become featured lists. Eight users signed up to help out, shown here. The next Featured Topic hasn't been decided upon, and the ideas and organization for it fell apart. If you have any ideas, don't hesitate to share them at WT:HOCKEY. edit

[edit] ECAC West
Hi, Bhockey10. Can I ask where you got these dates for the teams joining ECAC West? I know for a fact that Neumann hasn't even had a hockey program for 10 years, let alone since 1970. And Elmira has definitely been in the ECAC West longer than 7 years. Thanks. Powers T 12:29, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Amateur Baseball Teams Notability
As you are a member of the Wikiproject:Baseball and the participants bit says you have some knowledge of minor leagues would you mind visiting the following pages Dupage Dragons, Springfield Sliders, and Twin City Stars and help to determine their notability for inclusion. If they and the league they play in are notable than I'd like to maybe help improve the articles but, I'm not sure they actually are. I don't want to overreact so thought I'd bring it to someone "in the know" that may be able to help. If it helps my request for assistance is listed here [1]. Thank you. [edit] Re: Blue Jackets roster
If you go to this page, you can update it there. Because it's on the Template page it will automatically be updated on all of the other articles in which the roster is located. Hope that helps, thanks! Blackngold29 01:57, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Nice work!
Love all of your improvements to the Bowling Green State University article! It looks much better now. Great job!! --Kralizec! (talk) 02:18, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] ALPB
I see your point with the West Chester ballpark. I'll be happy if this park does go up. If the West Chester team joined the ALPB, that would mean three teams in three adjoining counties in competition.
I try to keep the ALPB page to resemble the MLB page as close as possible. Obviously things like TV contracts and the like are major differences.JaMikePA (talk) 21:23, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
