Bertie Cooper

Bertie Frederick Cooper (c. 1892 - 1916-08-31) was an Australian rules footballer who played 83 games for the South Fremantle Football Club in the West Australian Football League between 1910 and 1915,[1] captaining the team in 1913 and 1915.[2] Cooper then joined the 16th Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force and was killed on 1916-08-31 during the Battle of Mouquet Farm in Pozières, France.[3]
