Bernardo de Irigoyen

Bernardo de Irigoyen (18 December 1822 – 27 December 1906) was an Argentine lawyer, diplomat and politician, born in Buenos Aires. He was twice the Minister of Foreign Relations, once the Minister of Interior, and a senator. In 1898 he was elected governor of Buenos Aires Province. He ran for president of Argentina on two occasions (1885 and 1891).
