Ben.Carbonaro (born June 23, 1985) is an Italian-Australian statisician. Ben Carbonaro is a local celebrity in Sunbury. He has a great fondness for all things fashion, with a particular focus on the "metrosexual". An example of this is his much-maligned Dior sunglasses, his monobrow, extremely tight jeans cutting off circulation to the groin area (there are persistent rumours that he has a well developed form of "scrot-rot") as well as his enviable collection of Havaianas thongs. He also has a somewhat bizarre and unexplained perversion towards all things deaf-related, perhaps due to the fact that he was once going steady with a deaf chick. Sadly, Ben no longer sports the pink "faux-hawk" that was so defining. Many a time Ben has been stopped on the street, recognised by his styling threads, haviana's, and pink mo-hawk. He was the star of possibly the greatest and most legendary thread in the history of BigFooty; the aptly named "Ask Ben". Bens work in the media is getting bigger, along with his guest spot on SEN and Sport Aus news work he has also just signed on for Western Bulldogs website The Bulldogs Barking

[edit] NetballHe has covered elite level netball since 2005 after an opportunity with a sports website arose and he made the decision to report on a sport that often does not receive much coverage from the mainstream media. Ben reported on Melbourne Phoenix and Kestrels matches from 2005-7, along with any matches played by the Australian team in Melbourne but also took on the responsibility of covering last year's Netball World Championships including detailed previews/reviews for SEN 1116's All Night Sport program. He is now looking forward to the new ANZ Championship competition and will report on Melbourne Vixens home matches, whilst continuing with his extensive coverage of the Australian team's international matches.
