Beit Keshet (Hebrew: בית קשת, lit. House of Archer) is a kibbutz in the Lower Galilee, Israel. Founded in 1944, it was the first village established by Palmach members. During the founding of the kibbutz, a group of immigrants who were a part of the Youth movement HaMahanot HaOlim and graduates of the Kadoorie Agricultural High School joined the kibbutz. It is under the jurisdiction of Lower Galilee Regional Council.
The name of the village (referring to the bow) symbolizes the ability of the founders of the kibbutz to stand up against their enemies, as it did during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, when attacked by Bedouins.[citation needed]
