A bloke with a beard....
Been around for a while - editted numerous pages and now got to the point where the number of edits and different IP addresses I've used over the years make it difficult to manually keep track.
Always swore I'd never create my own login or get involved with the somewhat combative and awkward nature I've seen in arguments on the Talk pages by some of the contributors & admins, but here I am now and I guess for better or worse I'm getting more involved.
In real life I'm a C/C++ programmer on Telecommunications systems. In my time I've worked on Intelligent Network,V5, ISDN, GSM, UMTS, various SS7 based systems, signalling test and monitoring equipment and more recently on LTE (Long Term evolution)
