Bełchatów [bɛu̯ˈxatuf] ( listen) is a city in central Poland, with 62,437 inhabitants (2004). It is located in Łódź Voivodeship. 120km from the capital of Poland.

Bełchatów has the largest coal fueled thermal power plant in Europe, the Elektrownia Bełchatów.
