[edit] Inclusion criteria

We should have some inclusion criteria... 132.205.45.226 01:44, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm adding Number Three since she seems to be a major element of season 3. 132.205.45.226 01:44, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] BSG:The Resistance

Duck and Jammer were regulars on TR... should they appear on the list? 132.205.44.134 00:22, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Suspected Cylons

It seems that since Anders, Tyrol, Foster, and Tigh are only suspected Cylons they should either have (suspected) after their names in this template or they shouldn't be listed in the "Cylon" category. --64.113.78.228 04:17, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Ronald D. Moore, the executive producer and creator of the reimagined BSG has confirmed in an interview that the four ARE indeed Cylons. Here is a link. -- Crevaner 07:30, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Ron has been known to use misdirection in the past. I suggest we not change it until we are sure that it's canon. An interview with the producer does not make it truth in fiction. JRP 14:58, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Yes it does. RDM is the man responsible for the storyline. Just accept it, they're Cylons! -- Crevaner 18:28, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
    • They can be cylons and not have it be revealed in the series yet. I agree with you that it is probably true, but Wikipedia isn't for fan speculation based on interviews with producers. Until it appears on the show, we shouldn't be including the information as true. JRP 18:52, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
      • Appearing on the show in should not be a criterion for inclusion, either. In a series in which character lie and tell half-truths, using this primary source for encyclopedic content is sketchy. Unfortunately, there aren't a whole lot of reliable secondary BSG sources sitting around... --EEMeltonIV 01:45, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
  • It's not "fan speculation", it's CONFIRMATION! Here's another interview in which RDM confirms they're Cylons. Once again. Just accept it, JRP. -- Crevaner 21:46, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

I have noticed that since I made this comment, that it has been changed and then changed back again. Does anyone care to make a comment when they do the changing? Behun 04:17, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Seems like unnecessary clutter. And considering the revalations from the season finale, it might be a pain to keep current. Although I'm generally anti-spoiler-warning, such differentiation would also be pretty spoiler-ish for folks playing catch-up. And I don't think differentiating between them actually does anything significant, any more than separating them by gender or height. --EEMeltonIV 04:22, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
I'm also anti-spoiler warning, however the fact they are Cylons was a surprise and so I could understand how somebody could accidentally see that and get a bit hoo-ha. I also fail to see any benefit, it takes up more room.. the formatting is also borky on a 1024 resolution. Matthew 07:34, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
