Barry Corr (born 2 April 1985, County Wicklow), is an Irish footballer currently playing for League One side Swindon Town. A former Leeds trainee, Corr failed to score in eighteen appearances (half of them as a substitute) in the 2005-06 season before his season was ended prematurely by a back injury.

He spent a brief spell on loan at Bristol City 2006/07 season. He made two full appearances and scored his first senior goal before his spell was cut short.

On the 19th of March it was made official that Barry Corr would be united with old boss Paul Sturrock in a loan deal till the end of the season at Swindon Town in a bid to help the League Two club clinch promotion.[1] Corr marked his arrival at Swindon, continuing his fine reserve team record. By scoring in the club's 3-0 victory over former club Bristol City Tuesday the 20th of March 2007. [2] Barry then continued to repay the faith put into him by Paul Sturrock. By scoring in the 34th minute on his first team debut in an important six pointer against Lincoln City at Sincil Bank.

He also created a goal that day, for fellow former owl Lee Peacock. In total, he appeared eight times and scored three goals during that spell. Barry has been described as a player similar to Peter Crouch.[3] He was released by Wednesday at the end of the season and on 31 May 2007, he signed for Swindon Town on a two-year contract.

He has suffered a string of bad injuries, back related and most recently shoulder problems. Despite this he is still a fans favourite even after his Red Card on new years day, which led Town having to settle for a 1-1 draw against League 1 leaders Swansea F.C.
