Barnhall RFC

Barnhall Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club in Leixlip, County Kildare near Dublin. The club plays in the third division of the AIB League after being relegated in the 2007/2008 season. The club has however got a very successful history. Barnhall has 5 senior teams including an under 20's team, and then underage teams from 18's to 13's at youth level, and 12's to under 8's at minis level.

The club was founded in 1969 by workers at the local 'meat packers' located on the current Hewlett Packard site in Leixlip. In 1991 the current club house was opened by the then President of Ireland, Mary Robinson.

Over the years they have produced many great players including Toulose's Trevor Brennan, Padraic Beatty, Chris Leavy, Sam Hare, Eamon Daly, Leo Quinn and Ray Dufficy.
