Bandar Kinrara

Bandar Kinrara is a townships in Petaling district, Selangor, Malaysia. It is south of Puchong. The Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve is situated to its south. Island & Peninsular Berhad commenced township development under Perumahan Kinrara Berhad in 1994. The only link road to the development then was via Jalan Puchong before entering Kinrara Army Camp road. BK1 was constructed for low-cost terrace houses before BK2 double storey terraces begun construction. The construction of Puchong-Sungai Besi Highway (Federal route 25) helped Bandar Kinrara to expand the development phase on both side of the highway. An underpass linked both sides of the development.
There are seven sections of housing estates in Bandar Kinrara (BK1, BK2, BK3, BK4, BK5, BK6, BK7, BK8 and BK9). Double-storey houses were built in BK3 and BK4, and BK5 has a better housing society. The latest section of housing estates are BK6 and BK7, bungalows, semi-Ds and terrace houses were built in BK6 and BK7 was still under construction. BK8 and BK9 are both new and still under construction.
In 2008, there was a new Giant shopping complex in the area which gives more convienient to the residents in the area.
