Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) ([1]) is the peak industry body for pay television in Australia.
Formed in 1995, it was initially called the Confederation of Australian Subscription Television (CAST). In 1997 it changed its name following the amalgamation of two representative associations, CAST and another group representing subscription radio interests. ASTRA now represents both Subscription service and content providers.
