[edit] Thanks Visviva

Thanks for the excellent work. There are some minor niggles. The school type you had, "public", doesn't have the same meaning when applied to English schools as it does in other countries. Here it means, puzzlingly, a private school that is tax exempt. I've also commented out the religious affiliation for now (it was "none") as this isn't normally relevant to English state-run schools. The official religion is Church of England but most English people are not that religious, and in general religious teaching will tend to be pluralist with a slight pro-Christian slant. My son attended a state primary school whose school song was the John Lennon song, Imagine, described by Wikipedia as "a utopian song, with elements of atheism". "No hell below us, and above us only sky". Hmmm. England has changed a lot in the past forty years. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 15:19, 27 May 2005 (UTC)

You're welcome. And thanks for fixing my mistakes, Tony. Another lesson in the perils of being clueless and American (but I repeat myself). -- Visviva 21:30, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
